From Academy Award®-winning director Pete Docter (UP, MONSTERS, INC) comes the newest addition to the Disney/ Pixar family, INSIDE OUT. As we all know growing up can be somewhat tricky and life can throw us some curve balls and it is no different for Riley who is uprooted from her comfortable life in the mid-west all the way to San Fransisco when her dad gets a new job. We all know in life we are guided by our emotions, but imagine if you could take a look inside someones head and see just what was going on in there and which emotions were leading the way? Well now you can. Inside out takes you to the Headquarters, the control center inside Riley’s mind, where her emotions help guide her. Riley’s emotions are voiced by some of the most talented comics in the industry, Joy (Amy Poehler), Fear (Bill Hader), Anger (Lewis Black), Disgust (Mindy Kaling) and Sadness (Phyllis Smith). Joy who id Riley’s main emotion has her work cut out for her as the headquarters goes a bit crazy while Riley is adjusting to her new life in San Fransisco.
Take a look at this hilarious and adorable new trailer and these fun character posters for INSIDE OUT! I was among a lucky few who got to take a “first look” of some footage from INSIDE OUT and the amazing short shown before it and it was amazing, if you remember the amount of emotion in UP, there is even more here because the story is inspired by Docter’s very own daughter. I have been patiently waiting for you to see the amazing emotions of INSIDE OUT.
