The popular British TV show SHAUN THE SHEEP is heading to the big screen thanks to Lionsgate. The stop-motion animated television series is a spin-off of the Wallace & Gromit franchise. The series follows Shaun a sheep who thinks and acts like a person who just happens to be in a barnyard which usually gets him into trouble. Shaun is joined by Bitzer, the farmers sheepdog, who tries to keep Shaun and his barnyard friends out of trouble.
This week Lionsgate released a new poster and the first trailer of the film.
The film is described as follows:
“When Shaun decides to take the day off and have some fun, he gets a little more action than he bargained for. A mix up with the Farmer, a caravan, and a very steep hill lead them all to the Big City and it’s up to Shaun and the flock to return everyone safely to the green grass of home.”
Directed by Mark Burton and Richard Starzak, are teaming up with Aardman Animations, the creators of CHICKEN RUN, to bring you this heartwarming story about family, fun and facing your fears. In the trailer we see Shaun and his friends heading to the big city and all the trouble they get into.
