Check Out This New Featurette For MAD MAX: FURY ROAD

We are less than a week away from opening day for MAD MAX: FURY ROAD and Warner Bros. just released a new featurette for the film called “Nux.” With each new clip the anticipation grows for the exciting remake. From the iconic director George Miller, originator of the post-apocalyptic genre and the genius behind the legendary MAD MAX franchise, comes the franchises newest installment MAD MAX: FURY ROAD. We return to the world of the Road Warrior, Max Rockatansky is haunted by his past but must find a way to survive the high-octane Road War.

In this fourth installment in the franchise Tom Hardy will star in the tile role as Max, the role that belonged to Mel Gibson in the first three films MAD MAX, MAD MAX 2, and MAD MAX BEYOND THUNDERDOME. Oscar winner Charlize Theron stars as Imperator, Furiosa, Nicholas Hoult stars as Nux and Hugh Keays-Byrne, who was in the first film, returns to the franchise as Immortan Joe. The film has a huge supporting cast full of some pretty talented names like Zoe Kravitz, Josh Helman, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, and Nathan Jones just to name a few.

While there have been a slew of post-apocalyptic films that have graced the big screen none have come close to the epic scale achieved by Miller in the first three films. MAD MAX BEYOND THUNDERDOME may by my favorite in the franchise so far, mostly because of Tina Turner’s unforgettable role as Aunty Entity. We have waited 30 years to revisit the franchise and while I was more than skeptical at the beginning the more I see the more I can not wait to see the film.

While I would like to have a complete MAD MAX marathon before opening weekend I won’t because the one thing that is great about these intense action movies, is while there are things that tie each film together, each film so far has been able to stand on its own and I believe the new film will do the same thing. With critics raving, calling MAD MAX: FURY ROAD one of the best action movies ever made, the weekend can’t come soon enough. Check out this new featurette and be sure to also take a look at the George Miller behind the scenes featurette below. Let us know if you are excited for MAD MAX: FURY ROAD.
