Yesterday Warner Bros. Studios released the second trailer for their new film THE MAN FROM U.N.C.L.E.. Directed by Guy Ritchie (SNATCH), starring Henry Cavill, Armie Hammer, Alicia Vikander, Elizabeth Debicki, Jared Harris, and Hugh Grant, THE MAN FROM U.N.C.L.E. is a new action film based on the hit 1960’s television show. The fresh take on the series takes us back to the early 1960’s and follows CIA agent Napoleon Solo (Henry Cavill) and KGB agent Illya Kuryakin (Armie Hammer) who are forced to put aside their differences and embark on a joint mission to stop an international criminal organization.
In this new trailer we get a closer look at Henry Cavill as Napoleon Solo and a whole lot of action. Not only does the film look exciting but I love the feel of the film. When Guy Ritchie is behind the camera he brings a grit to his projects that make them feel authentic and real. I love that while watching this trailer you don’t feel like it is a remake made in 2015, but instead it brings you back to the 60’s. It truly feels like it was made in that era, like the great spy movies of the past. With action, explosions and a dash of humor THE MAN FROM U.N.C.L.E. looks like it will be a huge hit for Ritchie. Let’s just all hope they didn’t put the best parts of the film in the trailer leaving us with little to experience in the theatre. THE MAN FROM U.N.C.L.E. hits theatres on August 14, 2015.
